This 5-ingredient tart is insanely easy and good. Buy store bought pie crust for an even easier weeknight 'I-just-need-dessert-after-dinner' craving.
1 9” pie round or a slab of dough
1 jar fig (or any other type!) preserves
1 orange zested
Preheat oven to 425° F. Roll pie dough out and cut to tartlet size. Fit dough into tartlet and trim.
Divide fig jam and top with zest. Roll up dough scraps and flatten again. Cut into strips and decorate the tarts.
Spoon enough butter over the top to make irresistible.
Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Cool slightly and remove from molds while warm. Dust aggressively with powdered sugar.
