Avocado Toasts with Sesame Seeds, Pepitas and Red Pepper Flakes

The new year is all about being redefining, work on yourself and setting goals. Whether that means eating healthier, cooking more at home or perfecting a classic. Avocado toasts are trendy for a reason, they're good. It's like combining your favorite dip (guac!) with your favorite sugar (carbs!). Full of healthy fats to make your skin glow in the new year, this is like having your cake and eating it too. 

1 thick slice of bread, toasted
1 garlic clove, whole
1/2 avocado 
Squirt of lemon juice
Pinch of salt
Sprinkle of sesame seeds, pepitas and red pepper flakes 


Rub toasted bread with garlic clove to infuse flavor, save clove for another use. Mash avocado with lemon juice and salt. Slather on bread. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, pepitas and red pepper flakes.
